Away from the maddening crowds- Outside Tel Aviv
By: Roye Salomon
Tel Aviv is a great city, but like all cites, it can overwhelm you at times. Usually one can find refuge at the beach or in Park Hayarkon, but sometimes this isn’t enough. When I get the city blues, and need to escape from its warm and humid embrace, I head out of the city and back to Mother Nature’s rejuvenating hold. While there are endless places to head out to in Israel, here I will include those that are up to 30 minutes drive from the city (not including traffic (NIT)-see driving section). Towards the end I will also recommend a biking tour for those who like to self propel them selves.
